Description of the Project:
The symposium covered ICT-trends in monitoring, financing for WASH monitoring, issues and solutions for monitoring sanitation & hygiene, and examples of project and country-wide monitoring.
The consultancy specifically involved extensive peer review and support to papers and presentations of country-led monitoring in Timor-Leste, Malawi, Uganda, South Africa, Nicaragua, West Africa, Thailand and Central America. It included the delivery of keynote and facilitation of six sessions the Symposium on Sustainable WASH Service Delivery in Addis Ababa in April 2013. Preparation of a synthesis report which is under review to be published by Practical Action.
