Daniel Wyss has 11 years of experience as architect, urban planner and programme manager in the field of international development cooperation. He has been involved in sanitation, slum upgrading, earth-quake resisting reconstruction, urban design and sustainable building material production in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Burundi, Czech Republic, Germany, Haiti, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Sudan and Switzerland. His strength lies in assessment, planning, decision making support, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of construction and urbanisation relarted development projects. Since 2012, he coordinates the regional PROECCO Programme in Africa’s Great Lakes Region, promoting climate responsive production and employment in the Building Material Industry  and acts as Skat’s country representative in Rwanda.
