Description of the Project:
The course was developed in response to the specific training needs of the participants and following the scheme of the guide “Work the Net”. It included topics such as Network Governance and Structure, Network Management, Communication Strategy in Networks and Operational Network Planning. A variety of methods were used in the course including conceptual inputs, working groups, case studies and group discussions. As a result, participants were better familiarised with the tools and processes for Network Management and had the opportunity to reflect about the critical factors that can guarantee the success of their Networks. Additionally, course participants strengthened relations with each other and discussed how to strengthen the communication strategy of their network. The sessions were carried out in Brazil in August 2007 and January 2008, respectively.
