Mirco Keller is a seasoned WASH professional with 10 years of experience in international development and humanitarian aid across diverse settings. Early in his career, he contributed to the water and sanitation sector working for different NGOs and international organizations. In 2018 he then joined the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as a Water and Habitat Delegate. More recently, he worked with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Bangladesh, successfully overseeing the implementation of a humanitarian WASH project in collaboration with local authorities, the WASH Sector and international partners.
Since joining Skat Consulting in August 2022, he has become an integral part of the core team. Leveraging his wealth of experience, he excels in project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, as well as capacity building for partners in both urban and rural water and sanitation sectors. His expertise spans a range of thematic areas, including WASH in humanitarian and development contexts, decentralized sanitation solutions (incl. faecal sludge management), solid waste management and the analyses of project related DRR and climate risk aspects.
