Peace, governance, and equality: Inclusive and engaging learning events
SKAT introduces innovative methods ensuring every voice is heard and valued.
The Peace, Governance, and Equality thematic section of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) addresses global challenges related to peace, good governance, anti-corruption efforts, gender equality, social inclusion, and cultural development.
SKAT’s role within this mandate is to bring methodological expertise to learning events organised by SDC – whether online, face-to-face, or hybrid – by designing dynamic and inclusive processes that foster collective learning and meaningful engagement.
In 2024, SKAT facilitated two regional face-to-face learning events for SDC staff: one in Nairobi on strategic policy dialogue and another in Tirana on gender equality and social inclusion. We ensure that every learning space has a clear and shared purpose, a compelling invitation, and an engaging, inclusive, and safe environment where everyone feels encouraged to speak up.
Participants particularly appreciated the highly interactive workshop design, the lively discussions, and the way everyone was actively included in the learning process.
