The EnEff project addresses energy poverty in rural Moldova by improving energy efficiency and promoting renewable energy solutions. It empowers local public authorities (LPAs) to enhance the energy performance of public buildings, improve household living conditions, and reduce dependency on fossil fuels. Through technical expertise, capacity building, and tailored interventions, Skat contributes to climate change mitigation and resilience. This project is an extension (Additional Credit) of the "Ma Implic" Local Governance Project, Phase 1 (2019–2023).
