A generation change in the board of directors

A generation change is underway at Skat Consulting AG. In February 2020, a new three-person management team took over the operational management of Skat Consulting AG. On January 1, 2021, a generation change will follow as planned in the Board of Directors as well. The long-time President of the Board of Directors, Karl Wehrle, and the long-time Vice-President Esther Oettli will hand over their functions to the new generation.

The Board of Directors has appointed Urs Karl Egger as the new President of the Board of Directors. He has been on the Board of Directors of Skat Consulting AG since 2016. Urs Karl Egger studied business administration and economics at the University of St. Gallen and worked as a consultant at Skat Consulting AG from 2002 to 2008. He then headed the Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation as Chairman of the Management Board. Since 2019 he has been self-employed as managing director of his company Enteka GmbH and works as a consultant and coach for sustainable development.

Claudia Zimmermann was elected as the new Vice President. She has been on the Board of Directors of Skat Consulting AG since May 2020. She holds a degree in business administration, a financial analyst degree (CFA) and a postgraduate degree in applied history from the University of Zurich. After many years of consulting work at PwC, she helped expand the Noser Group as CFO between 2005 and 2015. In 2017 she founded C-Advisory GmbH, whichsupports companies and the public sector in sustainable development. At >> venture >> she is a mentor and juror for startups.

The Board of Directors is convinced that the initiated reorganization can be successfully implemented with the new leadership in the Management Team and the Board of Directors. With its revised strategy, Skat Consulting will continue to follow the successful path as a competent specialist organization in international cooperation while remaining faithful to its long-time orientation to serve the common good.

Karl Wehrle and Esther Oettli will remain on the Board of Directors until the Annual General Meeting in June 2021 to enable a careful handover of their functions to the new generation.
