Rolling out TAF in Tanzania

Skat provided training of regional water advisors, of NOG’s and in particular of WaterAid and staff on the use of the Technology Applicability Framework (TAF). Skat supported WaterAid in the practical application of the TAF in several case studies (e.g. solar powered scheme in Singida District, household latrine in Iramba District).
Training of local masons for Self-supply

Support of SHIPO in the development of its training courses for local artisans and drillers. Development of holistic programme including training, financial mechanisms using the SACCO schemes and for establishing a certification mechanism to assure quality of products and services provided by trained artisans.
