Assessment, Monitoring & Evaluation
Skat undertakes assessment, monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes for governments, multi-lateral and bi-lateral development agencies. We undertake regular performance monitoring and reporting of programmes, as well as periodic review of specific activities under different programs/projects and overall evaluation of their impact.
We use a number of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including research design sampling, weighting and estimation, experimental designs, longitudinal analysis, rapid appraisal, and others. In particular, we review and evaluate activities using the following measures: impact, effectiveness, efficiency, replicability, scalability and sustainability by drawing on extensive experience built up over many years in many, often complex, contexts. We include cross-cutting issues as gender and conflict-sensitivity and behavioural change for long-lasting outcomes.
